Also not everyone at the table enjoyed public speaking or strangers and did poor jobs at selling their dates. I felt like I was only playing with 2 other people despite the group. Meanwhile the person to my left, who was getting all my carefully calculated Red Flags, was getting kind of mad at me. I noticed an issue when I won every round because my wife, who was sitting to my right, wan’t playing her best Red Flag on me because she felt bad.

This version includes optional rules and assets for a custom game mode, Dice Directions, that I created the same day I played this game when I saw it showcased at PAX South. It also kind of eliminates what I find to be the most fun part of the game which is listening to your friends pitch their perfect date.While this version contains the expansion packs as created by the original workshop author, it includes Vincent’s redone, and easier to read, core deck. It's kind of fun this way but the problem is all the white and red cards that have blanks in them need to be taken out beforehand since they can't be filled in as they are being read. Those players also lay down their sabotage red card on another player, then the dates are presented as normal except there is no lobbying from those that created the dates. So far the only thing I've come up with is Blind Date where the person who is 'it' closes their eyes while the other players play their perfect date cards. My main issue with RF is that the person who is 'it' always knows who is putting down what choices, so it's hard to make an unbiased decision when there's actual stakes other than just winning the game. Alternate rules meaning rules that can be adapted to drinking, stripping, etc. I recently bought Red Flags and much like most of the games of this nature (like CAH) I'm looking for alternate rules that could be fun with the right group of people. (Hopefully this is the right subreddit for this)
